Copy First Website
The Copy-First Website Framework: How oS3 Built a Deployable Platform Website for a One-Day Founder Launch
Client: ourStory.Network
Intended Partners: Norrsken House Kigali, mHUB Chicago, 1921 CoWorking, Impact Hub Port-Au-Prince
Our Roles: Platform Designer, Investor Relations Manager, Platform Engineer, Operational Excellence Director, Biophilic Brand Manager, Partnership Sales Manager
Jacques Achille was looking for Operational Excellence jobs as a knowledge worker while also wanting to find brands that could be added to ourStory.Network's client list.
He was blocked from effectively reaching out to employers or clients. Standard tools like LinkedIn were insufficient, unable to capture the depth of a generalist career or grant full control over his own story. He lacked a polished, owned asset to highlight the oS3 framework developed since 2020, and he needed a tangible, low-barrier product to deliver to potential clients quickly.
How can we build a single asset that serves as both a high-end professional portfolio and a low-barrier client acquisition tool?
We executed the entire oS3 Website Launch Operations plan, which is designed to move from concept to a fully automated, value-delivering platform .
Governance & Design (A.2.7, E.7.2): We first created a "copy-first" wireframe in Google Docs (an 'E.7.2.1 Drawing'). This was presented to an advisor using the B.1.8.3 Meetings playbook.
Onboarding (C.0.9): Using a custom Gemini Gem, we transformed the meeting minutes into the formal 5-part "C.0.9.1 Specification Kit" for the project.
Phase 1: Content Sprint (D.8.1): We executed all content tasks , finalizing the homepage "pitch," the "Mitosis Method" framework, the "Why oS3..." FAQ, and the "process-focused" Case Studies (fulfilling G.5.4 Sales).
Phase 2: Funnel Implementation (B.0.9): We built the core "Purposeful Pathway" . This involved building the 'Start Building for Free' web form and connecting it to an automated 3-part email nurture sequence.
Phase 3: Value Delivery (C.1.8.1): We created the "data room", populated it with V1 resources, and automated the system to grant immediate access upon submission. We also documented the sales handoff process (Task 3.4).
Publishing: The entire site, built on Framer's new Design feature as a scalable template, was published along with its CMS. The full user journey was tested end-to-end (Task 3.6) .
The result is a website that Jacques can use to clearly demonstrate the oS3 framework when looking for jobs. His team profile page acts as a more in-depth, readable alternative to LinkedIn, providing quick access to his CV and different versions of his resume to highlight skills in a way LinkedIn cannot. Additionally, ourStory.Network now has a website template that can be used to build a client list and get impact startups launched with their own "One-Day Platform Website."
A "copy-first" approach is paramount. By focusing on the message before the visuals, we avoided months of wasted time on tweaks that failed to tell the story. This process allows founders to "get out of their own way" and nail their messaging first—a model we can now offer to all impact startups.
